david and goliath

1. The giants in our lives are always problems
(view of Goliath close up = intimidating)
(my giants = my future career, specific projects, office relationships, personal relationships)

2. We should not let the giants in our lives obstruct our view of God
(view of Goliath from the top of a hill = tiny. view of Goliah from God's perspective of the universe = infinitely small)
(we should think of God 4 times more than we think of our problems)
(a Christian can be discovered from his perspective. You can look, smell like a Christian but do you talk about your problems 24/7?)
(even a finger directly in front of your face can obstruct your view of people = focusing on your problems can easily obstruct your view of God)

3. Keeping our perspective/view of God - therein lies our victory
(Look at how God has provided for you in the past - He has guided and moved for you in the past. What makes you think he will not do so today?)
